As countries around the world have started to vaccinate their populations, concerns about equitable distribution of vaccines emerge. There are indications that developing economies are lagging, but the costs of inequitable vaccination will be borne by every country. Poor logistics, weak infrastructure and ‘vaccine nationalism’ complicate the situation. Professor Mari Pangestu and Professor Tikki Pangestu will be in conversation with Professor Hal Hill about global vaccine distribution, the strategy to ensure equity for developing nations, public health development and ways to prepare for future health challenges.
