Head of ACDE, Professor Ligang Song
Ligang Song is Professor of Economics and Chair of the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics in the Crawford School of Public Policy. He received his undergraduate degree in economics at Renmin University of China (RUC), a Master degree in International Development at the International University of Japan (IUJ), and a PhD in Economics at the Australian National University. He teaches IDEC8081 The Economics of Incentives and Institutions and IDEC8003 Issues in Development Policy. His research interests include international economics, institutional economics, economic growth and development, and the Chinese economy.
Deputy Head of ACDE, Associate Professor Paul Burke
Paul Burke is an economist focusing on energy, the environment, transport, and developing countries, particularly in the Asia Pacific. He is a key team member of the ANU Grand Challenge project Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific. Paul teaches IDEC8029 Issues in Applied Microeconomics and IDEC8089 Energy Economics.
