This working paper series provides a vehicle for preliminary circulation of the Department’s research results in the fields of economic development and international trade. The series is intended to stimulate discussion and critical comment. Staff and visitors in any part of the Australian National University are encouraged to contribute. To facilitate prompt distribution, papers are screened, but not formally refereed.
The Australia South Asia Research Centre (ASARC) is dedicated to research on the economics and politics of development in the South Asia region. The working papers provide a focus for scholarly interest across disciplines in South Asia throughout The Australian National University.
The Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies (BIES) is a refereed journal published by the Taylor & Francis Group under its Routledge imprint, and located at Taylor & Francis Online. Housed in the Indonesia Project in the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics at The Australian National University, BIES was founded by the late Professor H.W. Arndt, and has been in continuous publication since 1965.
